The best quality logs you can buy in York are kiln dried hardwood ash logs. We say hardwood logs because they have more density and will therefore burn better and longer than softwood or just seasoned logs. Hardwood logs are also heavier and they produce more heat. Kiln dried is the process where the moisture is dried out of the wood leaving a product that has 10 – 15% moisture content. At this level the kiln dried hardwood ash logs will burn much more efficiently. They burn at higher temperatures, produce more heat, and can also be better for your fuel burning appliance as the higher temperatures will burn off the moisture and any sap avoiding the build up of tar.
Our nets are tightly stacked offering much more product than unstacked nets.
This product can be ordered with dumpy bags, barrow bags, loose logs or crates, if ordered individually it is subject to a minimum spend of £50.00 or more then free delivery is available to most YO, HG and LS postcodes.
This product can be collected from our yard by prior arrangement.
